Requirements for Awesome Note

Awesome Note is compatible with iPhone and iPod touch.
It requires iPhone OS 3.0 or later.

To find out which software version is on your iPod touch, follow these simple steps.
Tap the Settings icon > Tap General > Tap About to see the version number.

The software version number appears next to Version.

Is Awesome Note for iPad coming out? If so, when?

Yes, we are planing to develop an iPad compatiable version and we are under development right now; however, it will take several months to release it.

iPad version should be purchased separately.

What can you expect from Awesome Note for iPad?

UI is expected to be newly upgraded and more convenient with the basic features in Awesome Note for iPhone.
You can also exchange notes from iPhone version and synchronize with each other.

Basic Questions

What is the difference between lite and full version?

You can try a FREE version, Awesome Note Lite that limits creation of only 10 notes.
Awesome Note Lite and Awesome Note are two independent programs.

Is it Refundable?

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a refund to Apple.
We have no way to give you money back by Apple's policy.

Is it able to create a note without an internet connection?

Awesome Note allows offline access; you can edit and access notes without an internet connection.
Just need a Wi-Fi connection when you transfer/backup your notes to online.

Does Awesome Note provide landscape mode?

Yes, Awesome Note supports both landscape and portrait mode in all views.
You can input easier with a wide keyboard layout when in landscape mode.

Awesome Note is international?

Awesome Note supports multilingual, including English, Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Russian.
Although Awesome Note interface is written in English, you can create tasks and notes in any language.
After installing Awesome note, you can set the language for iPhone..
Set the language for iPhone:
Choose Settings > Gereral > International > Language, choose the language you want to use, then tap Done.

Personal security is available?

Setting master passcode lets you can lock the start of app and each folder so that you can protect your data safely. The passcode can be asked when you transfer the date.

Can I sync with MAC and PC ?

Awesome Note cannot directly sync with Mac and PC. Awesome Note supports the synchronization with Google Docs and Evernote so that you can transfer, upload and download your data anywhere it has an internet connection.

Can I backup my data?

You can backup your data anytime by syncing with Google Docs and Evernote. It creates backup files by dates and only literal texts can be backup.
We recommend you to sync with iTunes in your computer for the safe date storage on a regular base. You can restore your data from iTunes if the app goes wrong. For more information, http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766

Can't see repeating to-dos on calendar view.

Basically, repeating tasks do not show everytime on calendar and note lists.
For instance, even if it is a diary, it is not shown everyday and everytime.
Repeating functin is a system that is shown the next to-do when the to-do or schedule is completed.
Completed schedules or overdued to-do is automatically displayed in the following schedule.
When today's tasks have been passed, they antomatically move on to next to-dos.

Updates: The update is FREE?; Once you purchase an application, you can download it without charge.

Application upgrade is new releases that can be purchased or downloaded through the App Store on iPhone/iPod-Touch or the iTunes Store on your computer.

- We recommend you to backup your contents to iTunes syncing with your desktop iTunes in the case of losing your data for unknown reason while updating.
- You can backup your content by syncing with either Google Docs or Evernote.
- You can update Awesome Note in iTunes as well as App store.; Can I re-download?; There may be times when you accidentally delete a purchased app before you get a chance to back up your purchases.

Working with Notes: How many notes can you make?; You can make as many as you want. There are no limits to folders.
However, creating too many notes can make the app slow..; What kind of document format does it support?; Awesome Note only supports Document formats (DOC, TXT, RTF) and other files such as PDF, XML, CSV, ODS, ODT, HTML file formats cannot be supported so they do not sync.
Basically, Awesome Note is optimized to write a short article as a note taking application.
It can be difficult to deal with a long document like eBook Reader.; Notes and To-do can be used mutually?; In Awesome Note, the moving between Notes and To-do is designed to be flexible. The notes can be To-do and at the same time, To-do can be a note by removing the to-do function.
See How to creating task note >; How many images and maps can I attach?; You can attach several images and a piece of map in a note.
You can attach images as many as you want, but it takes time to load with so many images.
In addition, Google Docs limits the uploading capacity of 500K. Thus, 2~3 pieces of images in a note are recommended while syncing with Google Docs.; How can I set the default background in each folder?; You do not really need to set the default background in each folder. Once you set the theme (background and font) in the last note you created, it is applied in the next note.
The default theme in Setting is only applied when you create a New Note in the main screen.

Syncing and Transferring: How to move the notes from Lite version to full version!; By using Backup, you can move folders, notes and even themes.
1. Backup lite version to Google Docs.
Settings > Syncing and Transferring (Google Docs) > Backup
2. Restore full version from Google Docs.
Settings > Syncing and Transferring (Google Docs) > Restore

Or, with the Copy and Paste, you can simply move the texts.; How to move the document in my computer to Awesome Note?; You can move the data in your desktop by syncing with either Google Docs or Evernote.
1. Get set for synchronization in Settings of Awesome Note..
Choose which web services to use between Google Docs and Evernote. Sign in it.
Settings > Syncing and Transferring
Tap the sync button for the initial synchronization.
2. Import the data in your desktop with Google Docs or Evernote.

3. The data can be moved in Awesome Note while syncing with Awesome Note.; Capacity limitations while Syncing?; Google Docs has a size limit of 500K for notes uploaded to the service.
Generally files up to under 5,000 words will upload fine to Google Docs.

We don't recommend making notes longer than 5,000 words.
It could be slow when you open a large size file and difficult to edit it.

Evernote offers users 40MB Traffic capacity every month for free. Apply for premium service for more capacity.; Other possible ways to backup?; We recommend you to sync with iTunes in your computer for the safe date storage on a regular base.
