Managing folders

Create folders and gather them into groups

Notes live in folders. As folders pile up, you can gather them into groups.

Creating a folder

Create a new folder from the Notes screen and give it a name, a color, and an icon. Icons can be searched by name.

Gathering into groups

A group is a collapsible section in the folder list. When you first open the app, two groups are set up for you: Records and Memos.

To put a folder in a group, press and hold the folder and drag it onto another group. You can drop it onto a collapsed group as well.

  3. 3In the folder list editor, drag with the handle on the right

There is always at least one group. The last one cannot be deleted. Deleting a group does not delete its folders. They move to another group.

All Notes and Inbox

All Notes and Inbox are collected views rather than real folders. They can be placed in groups and reordered like any folder, and hidden if you don't want them.

Their position is remembered per device, so it may differ on your other devices.
